Maintains clean and safe working environment for the therapists. Prepares patients and equipment for therapists. Assists therapists to support patients during daily treatments (i.e. gait training, transfers, exercise, etc.) Maintains linens and supplies, assists with office tasks as assigned. Communicates clearly and tactfully with patients, family members, therapists, co-workers, etc.
Two years Associate degree in Physical Therapy, from an accredited school. Current New Jersey Physical Therapy Associate (NJPTA) license or eligibility, required.
One year clinical experience in Physical Therapy, preferred.
